You might even be the underdog...
but keep your eye on the ball.
Stay prepared, show poise, and be ready.
Visualize success and always play your best.
The ball won't always bounce your way.
But when it does, you'll be there to make the play.
And if somehow, when the clock runs out you come up short... there will be other games,
other seasons, and you will always be a champion and winner.
So keep your head up.
Stand forever tall.
Go pack, go.
Even when the other team wins today's game...
today's overtime... underdog... away-from-home game...
by a nose.

That's your best story, yet! Thank you for coming by today.
ReplyDeleteGreat muzzle shots! Good work.
ReplyDeleteLiterally seconds before my Broncos (eventually as the game began) lost, I saw two (shouldn't there have been four?) fighter craft as close as I will ever see an f-16 (?) since I live near 38th and Federal just North of Mile High. Very powerful. Moreso than than the game.
ReplyDeleteThis photography is quite emotionally disarming in that anything but cynicism could, potentially, abhere utopia.
ReplyDeleteYes I created the term abhere and yeah I am damn proud of it.
Great photos, Meade. Dogs take a lot of work (that's why I'm a cat man) but they give a lot in return.
ReplyDeleteLove how the short legged Corgi got the ball. I'm a shortie too. Go shorties!!!
ReplyDeleteThe nose knows!
ReplyDeleteThe Husky finds the whole thing rather boring.
